Lisa Williams has a military background, an interest in humanitarian services, commitment to women, children and education, and leadership experience. She succeeds in all her personal and professional endeavors.

By profession, for most of her career, Lisa served as an information technology professional. Her drive and dedication to the agencies she's worked for has led to increased productivity and has generated financial savings for these agencies by utilizing resources efficiently and automating daily operations, which improved user processes. Her leadership skills and team approach was instilled during her tour of duty with the US Army where she proudly served for 8 years. Lisa currently holds three Oracle Certified Professional certifications and a prominent certification in the security industry. She holds a Bachelor degree in Information Technology Management and has a Master degree in Public Administration so that she can further her career in a position that supports the betterment of the public. She's currently working on her doctorate in Organizational Leadership.

Lisa believes in devoting valuable time to organizations whose goals are to promote the upliftment of men, women and children. Lisa is a Commissioner with the Tallahassee Housing Authority where she currently serves as the Chair. She is a member of the American Business Women Association where she served as the Vice President and is the Publicity Chair. She is a member of the National Council of Negro Women where she once served as President of the Tallahassee Section. She instituted the Parent Teacher Association at Leonard Wesson Elementary School where she served as President for its first two years and was a member of Leon County School Advisory Committee. She is a graduate of Class 26 of Leadership Tallahassee, a community-based leadership program sponsored by the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Just recently appointed by the newly elect Chair of the Leon County Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) to serve as the Elected Officials Liaison.

She has been a resident of Tallahassee for 15 years. She has 3 sons, one being a very energetic 8 year old. With a hectic lifestyle she still has time for hobbies. She enjoys sewing, traveling, and playing golf.

Lisa follows her personal philosophy of respecting the past by reflecting on it to learn from it so that she can be a better person today. She actively participates in the present trying to encourage and motivate anyone she comes into contact with. And finally, like most successful women, she sets goals big and small so that she can have something to reach for in the future. With high personal standards, Lisa Williams has been able to become successful at work, in business, and life. When you combine her business expertise with a genuine care for people, it's not hard to see why she is a dedicated individual.
